First Year Students
Do you agree with what your peers have said about the university experience!
Answer our online survey and go in the draw for a $50 gift card
We are conducting a research project which aims to gain real insight into how students experience transitioning into first year university, and your perceptions about how you could be better prepared.
During recent focus groups, we listened to a small group of students from the Faculty of Arts and the School of Biomedical Sciences share their thoughts and experiences about their first semester at university. We combined the commons themes they talked about into general statements about what it was like to transition from high school to university. Now we want to know how many students agree with them!
Our aim is to design and develop interventions and resources which would help first year students to be more prepared for what you find when you start university.
Complete the survey and you could win a $50 gift card. This should take 10 – 15 minutes of your time. There is also an optional section for comments. All responses will be completely anonymous. We will need your student email if you want to enter into the draw for the gift card. This section will take you to a separate form so your email address won’t be linked to your responses.
